The countdown has officially begun for the 2011-2012 ski season!
Park City Mountain Resort opens in just one month on Nov. 19.
Canyons Resort is opening on Nov. 25, and Deer Valley Resort debuts with the Celebrity Skifest on Dec. 3. Ski school reservations are now open for all three resorts.

Pray for Snow!!

Snowboard swap will take place at the Lake Placid Room in Mountain Village at Park City Mountain Resort, October 14th, 3:00-8:00 PM and October 15th and 16th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  Look for the signs.

The Park City Area Restaurant Association is holding a contest October 25, at Red Rock Junction in Redstone from 6:30 to 9:30PM, for 16 of the area’s best bartenders to mix, shake and scheme up a winter “signature” cocktail for Park City.  Admission to the contest is $10 and includes snacks and a vote for your favorite cocktail.  All proceeds will benefit the People’s Health Clinic, a non-profit community health clinic.

Girls and women are invited to come try ice hockey on October 1.  The Park City Ice Arena, along with the Utah Lady Grizzlies U19 hockey team and the Park City Predators women’s hockey team is hosting a girls/women’s Try It for Free Ice Hockey clinic from 3:15 to 4:30 P.M.
